gently used uniforms at a low cost to school families. It has
been a very successful program. We are in need of donations of
our school uniforms (gym sweats, slacks, blue shirts, jumpers or
skirts, sweaters, etc.) to replenish the Used Uniform Closet.
Please send the clean clothes to the School Office. Thank you

Confirmation is a Catholic sacrament of mature Christian commitment and a
deepening of baptismal gifts. Like Baptism and Eucharist, it is a Sacrament of
Initiation for Catholics and a Sacrament of faith in God's fidelity to us.Confirmation: 2009
Confirmation Mass
Date: Saturday, October 3, 2009
Time: 11:00 am
Celebrant: The
Reverend Nicholas Di Marzio, Bishop of Brooklyn Diocese
Bishop Nicholas Di Marzio came
to Saint Pancras to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation.
He anointed 57 young members of our Parish Community who had
spent over a year in preparation.
How did the Students
prepare?
They learned about their faith
in classes, doing homework and special assignments.
They spent at least 20 hours performing Acts of Community
Service.
They worked on a special project researching their chosen
Saints name and writing about their choice of Sponsor.
They spent a Saturday in Retreat in Immediate Preparation to
receive this important Sacrament.
A BIG Thank You to all
our parents, relatives and guests who added to the dignity
of the Sacrament through their exemplary participation.
Our sincere Thanks to Deacon Maloney, Principal Phillip
Ciani, DRE Margaret Walter, our teachers, altar servers,
ushers, volunteers who cleaned the Church before and after,
Michael Falce & Kevin Freile for their music and our
priests: Monsignor Wielunski and Father Klocek.
Let us all pray that our newly
Confirmed will assume active, responsible roles in their
parish.
