Candy Sale
(September 6-October 2) |
This is a
mandatory fundraising event. Each family is required to sell (2)
boxes of candy. Volunteers are asked to tally class sheets; count money
received and distributes candy. |

Cheesecake Sale
(October 9- 26 |
A catalog containing
cheesecakes and pies is sent home with each student. Students are asked
to share the catalog with family and friends. Orders are submitted to
school. Orders will be delivered the week of November 16. Volunteers
are needed to distribute cheesecakes the week of Thanksgiving. |

Walk-a-thon
(Fall-October 13; Spring-May 11) |
Students ask
sponsors for donations. They walk to raise money for their school.
Volunteers are posted along the walk to supervise the students and in
the cafeteria to distribute drinks and snacks. This event is held
twice during the school year: Fall and Spring. |

Stop & Shop Bonus
Bucks (October 9 March 25) |
This is a new
fundraising event. Register your Stop & Shop card at
http://www.stopandshop.com. Click on "A+" on the left hand
side and click Register and follow directions. St. Pancras School
has been registered at this site. You must have a Stop and Shop
Card in order to complete the registration.
If you do not have a computer just call the school at
718-821-6721with your card number and first 3 letters of your last name
and we will register it for you.

Halloween Dance
(October 24) |
This is a fun event,
scheduled for the weekend before Halloween. There is a D.J. and games
and prizes to be won. This dance is for the students, their families
and friends. Volunteers are needed to set up before the event - tables,
decorations, etc. - and to clean up after the event ends. |

Used Book Sales
(Fall-November 3-4; Spring-June 1-2) |
Gently used books,
videos and DVD’s are sold. If you would like to donate any, you can
send them in to the attention of fundraising throughout the school
year. Volunteers are needed to help set up books, help younger students
select appropriate books, and collect monies. |

Christmas Tree
Memorial (November
2-Christmas) |
Ornaments can be
purchased in memory of a loved one or a special person or event. These
ornaments will be placed on painted wooden trees throughout the
Christmas season. |
|
|
|
|
Carnival
(November 6-7) |
A weekend of
fun, games and prizes, food, etc. Volunteers are needed to work
the day of the event in the kitchen and clean up after on Sunday. |

|
|
Lottery Calendar
(November 9 - mid-January) |
Calendars with a
three-digit number from 000 through 999 will be sold. The number on
your calendar is your lucky number. When this number corresponds with
the New York State Lottery’s evening daily number, you win the amount
shown on that date on your calendar. Amounts vary from $25 to $300.
Numbers will be given on a first come basis. At least 500 calendars
must be sold. Volunteers will be needed to sell the calendars after
each mass. |

Craft Sale
(December 3-4) |
Crafts made by
parents and friends of Saint Pancras are sold to the students. Parents
are welcome to stop in as well. Anyone with a love for crafting who is
interested in joining, the group meets on Thursday mornings in the small
cafeteria. |

Tuition Raffle
(December 9 - March 1) |
This is also a
mandatory fundraising event. Each family is required to purchase
one raffle ticket. Additional tickets may be purchased. The winner
will receive (1) year’s tuition for (1) child. The winnings are applied
to tuition, not given in cash to the winner, except in the case of an
eighth grade student who is paid in full and the only child remaining in
school. |

Santa’s Brunch
(December 13) |
Come join us for
breakfast with Santa. Each child has a chance to speak with Santa and
have a picture taken with jolly St. Nick. There will also be raffles
and crafts for the children. |

St. Patrick’s Day
Dance (March 13) |
Enjoy traditional
Irish meal of corn beef, cabbage, etc. There will be a D.J., beer, and
soda. There will also be a 50/50 raffle. This event is for adults
only. No children will be admitted. Volunteers are needed to set up,
decorate and clean up. |

Talent Show
(March 26) |
Talented students,
under the direction of St. Pancras faculty, perform musical numbers.
Volunteers are needed to distribute refreshments during intermission. |

Supermarket
Sweeps (April 23) |
A fun filled evening
with friends playing BINGO for groceries. Raffles are held for prize
baskets. A 50/50 raffle is also held. Cake and coffee is served. This
event is for adults only. Only students working toward Confirmation
service hours will be allowed to volunteer and attend. Volunteers are
needed to solicit donations, prepare prize baskets, set up on event day,
sell raffle tickets, serve coffee/cake and clean up after the event. |

Mother’s Day
Plant Sale (May 6-7) |
Individual plants
will be sold in school for Mother’s Day. Volunteers are needed the day
of the event to help the students. |

Golf Outing
(May 24) |
Participants play a
round of golf, prizes are raffled off, and lunch is provided.
Volunteers are needed to solicit donations and sell boosters. This is
one of our biggest fund raising events. Volunteers are needed. Golfers
are needed. This event is held in the memory of John Palmato, Jr. |

Trash for Cash
(year-round) |
We are no longer
collecting used ink cartridges. Please continue to recycle your
cartridges through Staples. |

Target
(year-round) |
Anyone with a Target
VISA or Target Card account can sign up for the Take Charge of Education
program by calling 1-800-316-6142 or by visiting Target.com. Designate
Saint Pancras, as your school and Target will donate 1% of your
purchases at any Target store or
http://www.target.com to Saint Pancras. There is
no cost to you. Last year, Saint Pancras received $245 from Target. |

Labels for
Education (year-round) |
Clip and save UPC’s
and lids from participating products. Submit labels and lids in an
envelope with your child’s name and grade to school. St. Pancras
submits them to Campbell’s and chooses prizes from a catalog that
benefit St. Pancras. A list of participating products is attached. |

Box Tops for
Education (year-round) |
Clip Box Tops from
participating products. Each box top is worth 10 cents to our school.
Submit the box tops in an envelope with your child’s name and grade to
school. Twice a year, Box Tops will send our school a check. A list of
participating products is attached. Last year, Saint Pancras
School received $300 through Box Tops. |
